The electronic brake fluid tester gives an indicative reading of the water content in DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 fluids. The measurement helps you check the condition of the fluid and judge whether it needs further inspection or replacement.
The result is shown on a five-step LED scale. Green means a water content below 1 %, yellow signals a rising level, and red indicates about 3 % or more and the need to check and replace the fluid according to the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations.
The metal sensors are protected by a removable cap. The tester is operated with a single button, and a side clip makes it easy to keep in a pocket or glovebox.
