The Forge Motorsport adjustable diaphragm turbocharger actuator for Mitsubishi Evo 9 is designed as a direct replacement for the original actuator. It enables precise adjustment and control of boost pressure, which can improve turbocharger response and boost regulation.
The actuator is supplied as standard with a spring for the standard boost pressure. For modified vehicles and higher boost pressure, a stronger spring can be used on request. The product is designed to increase the turbocharger system’s boost pressure output, but the setting must be compatible with the capabilities of the engine and engine management system.

Diaphragm or piston design
The standard design uses a diaphragm-sealed interior. A piston-sealed design is also available, providing comparable performance and requiring less maintenance due to the durability of its internal piston components.
On engines where boost pressure is controlled by the ECU and solenoid valves, the specified mechanical spring specification does not mean that its value must be equal to the target boost pressure. When selecting a spring, consider the specific vehicle configuration and the planned level of modification.
