Due to the limited options for adjusting the geometry of four-wheel-drive vehicles, especially after lowering the suspension, Forge Motorsport redesigned the rear control arm with the adjustment that the standard version should have had from the factory. The product is also intended to resolve problems associated with rear control arm breakages.
In addition to the adjustment capability, the arm is further reinforced, making it suitable for vehicles used on the track. It is equipped with polyurethane bushes that provide improved handling. Following several months of intensive testing, the design was further refined.
Adjusting the geometry helps reduce uneven tyre wear and improve the tyre contact patch. If you set the geometry back to the original OEM values, the feeling of following longitudinal road ruts is reduced, while steering response becomes more direct. The arm also allows the geometry to be adapted to other vehicle modifications. The 20 mm lowered “Le Mans” and “S-line” versions with lowered suspension also benefit greatly from it.
For a longer service life in demanding conditions, the adjustable rear control arm is protected with an anti-corrosion powder coating.
