Forge Motorsport adjustable turbocharger actuator for Ford Focus RS/STi

The actuator is designed for Ford Focus RS or STi models. Versions with a straight or curved rod are available, and they are not interchangeable. Check which version you need before ordering and select it from the options menu.

The actuator is supplied without a replacement bracket, so the original factory bracket must be reused during installation.

Forge Motorsport manufactures two-piece replacement aluminium turbocharger actuators with a choice of springs according to the vehicle. The actuator allows precise adjustment and control of boost pressure, which can improve responsiveness and control of turbocharger operation.

The actuator is supplied as standard with a standard spring. For modified engines and higher boost pressure, a stronger spring can be used on request. The product is designed to increase the turbocharger system’s output boost pressure, but the setting must remain within the capabilities of the engine management system, whether factory-fitted or aftermarket.

The standard version has an interior sealed with a diaphragm. A piston-sealed version is also available, providing comparable performance and less maintenance thanks to its durable piston seal.

The kit includes:

All actuator rods are made from 303-grade stainless steel.

The specified spring pressures according to the colour markings apply to the mechanical part of the system and are directly applicable mainly to older turbocharged engines that are not controlled via the ECU or a solenoid valve. In modern engines with control via the ECU or a solenoid valve, the target boost pressure is not necessarily the same as the spring’s mechanical specification. When selecting a spring for a specific model and planned stage of modification, follow the recommendations of a qualified tuner.
