Forge Motorsport boost pipe for Hyundai N (i30 MK3.5, Elantra, Veloster, Kona)

This product is not compatible with the original intercooler. It can only be used with aftermarket intercoolers with a 63–67 mm diameter outlet on the cold side.

It is fully compatible with Forge Motorsport intercoolers for the Hyundai i30 N MK3.5, Hyundai Veloster N Facelift, including the DCT version, and the Hyundai Kona N.

During the development of numerous performance upgrades for the Hyundai i30 N and Veloster N, Forge Motorsport identified further opportunities for improvement. This time, the boost pipe running from the intercooler outlet to the throttle body on the cold side of the intake system has been upgraded.

It was clear that the airflow could be improved with the original rigid pipe. We increased the internal diameter by 20%, which resulted in faster turbocharger response and more direct power transfer during testing. A 66 mm internal diameter mandrel-bent aluminium pipe was developed, providing a smooth airflow transition from the cold-side intercooler outlet and perfectly matching the size of the original throttle body. High-quality silicone couplers with a fluoro lining are included.

The CNC-machined aluminium connectors are welded to the pipe, allowing all the original connections to be used. The internal diameter has been increased from 55 mm to 66 mm compared with the original pipe.

The increased diameter of the Forge pipe allows greater airflow and therefore a greater volume of air entering the engine. This can improve performance and efficiency, particularly on vehicles with upgraded software.

The pipe also incorporates a 1/8 NPT port for a water and methanol injection system or nitrous oxide system. It is positioned directly before the throttle body, allowing efficient delivery. This solution is useful for engine tuning in hot climates, where it helps maintain intake air temperature at a safer level.
