Due to the recall of the original engine covers by the VAG Group, associated with a potential fire risk, EA888 Gen.4 engines have often been left without an engine cover. This cover is an improved version of the original engine cover and mounts to the original mounting points. It is resistant to water and easily withstands the engine’s thermal cycles. The high-quality clear coat provides UV protection and additional durability.

It perfectly matches the Forge carbon fibre intake system and Forge turbo intake hose. Together, they visibly improve the appearance of the engine bay.

Fingerprints or marks may appear on the cover during installation, which is why the cover is supplied in a microfibre bag. Together with the Meguiar’s Care Pouch, the bag can be used to refresh and shine the carbon fibre engine cover.

The cover is manufactured using an autoclave process. During this process, pressure of up to 10 bar is applied to a 100% billet material mould, allowing the carbon fibres to conform perfectly to the mould surface. The result is tightly packed, compact and firmly woven carbon fibre without imperfections.
