With modern engine control unit (ECU) tuning that places additional demands on high-performance engines, the air may not be cooled sufficiently under certain conditions. This affects engine efficiency and can cause power loss. Forge Motorsport has therefore developed the PolarCooler radiator to improve the auxiliary cooling system on BMW M2 Competition, M3 and M4 models.
Development took into account experience with chargecooler system upgrades on Audi and Mercedes vehicles. This upgraded chargecooler radiator is intended for BMW M2 Competition, M3 and M4 models. It can be used on its own or together with the FMCC1 chargecooler and expansion tank kit for a complete cooling upgrade.
The radiator offers a significantly larger cooling surface area and core volume, measuring 545 × 460 × 32 mm.
