Forge Motorsport EGR delete kit for Volkswagen Transporter T5

Forge Motorsport EGR replacement kit for the 5-cylinder 2.5-litre diesel engine in the VW T5.

The kit not only removes the restriction caused by the EGR valve, but also eliminates the common problem of oil leaking at the original hose and coupling.

Includes a CNC-machined Forge Motorsport EGR adapter, blanking cover and hose coupling together with an oil-resistant hose. This covers all the key components required to replace the original EGR assembly.

Cutting the original hoses is not required.

Removing the EGR valve, even if it is functioning correctly, can increase engine power. After a certain amount of time, EGR valves often become partially blocked, especially in vehicles used for short journeys. This can cause a loss of power and poorer engine performance if the valve is not cleaned or replaced.

After removing the EGR valve, the engine warning light will come on and the glow plug light will also start to flash. This does not affect the way the vehicle drives. To eliminate the warnings, the engine control unit can be adjusted by reprogramming.

The kit replaces the EGR part with VW part number 070 128 070E.

Engine compatibility: engines with codes AXD, AXE and BLJ only.

Suitable for: VW Transporter V (7H).
