The replacement metal-alloy pipe is CNC-machined from a single piece, ensuring a precise fit without deformation or leaks. The kit also includes a steel blanking plate, allowing the removal and replacement of the EGR valve on the 5-cylinder 2.5 engine in the T5.
Removing the EGR valve can increase engine power, as the valves can become partially blocked over time, especially in vehicles used for short journeys. This can cause a loss of power and poorer engine performance if the valve is not cleaned or replaced. After installation, the engine electronics warning light will come on, and the glow plug light will also flash.
Important: the kit is suitable only for engines with the BNZ and BPC codes.
