FMTUBL18 is a turbocharger blanket designed specifically for a perfect fit on the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio with the 2.0 TB engine. It is manufactured and tested to withstand radiant heat of up to 1370 °C (2500 °F), helping protect engine components and extend their service life.
The innovative design retains exhaust gas heat in the hot side of the turbocharger and directs it away from the cold side and intake tract. This helps reduce turbo lag and intake air temperature, which can contribute to increased power.
