The Forge Motorsport turbo blanket is designed to limit the radiant heat generated by the turbocharger during operation. Its design helps protect surrounding engine components and extend their service life. It contains exhaust gas heat on the hot side of the turbocharger and separates it from the cold side and intake path. This allows more oxygen to reach the engine per unit of displacement, which can help increase power.

The unique design helps reduce turbo lag and lower intake air temperature.
The blanket will lose some of its flexibility during the first few heat cycles as the material hardens. Do not remove it after installation, as this may damage it.

- Maximum temperature rating: 2300 °F/1260 °C
- Continuous-use limit: 1832 °F/1000 °C
Outer surface:
- Direct-contact limit: 1800 °F/982 °C
- Radiant heat limit: 2500 °F/1371 °C
