Forge Motorsport turbo blanket for Peugeot 308 GTI II (2015–2020)

Forge Motorsport FMTUBL14 is a turbo blanket specifically designed for the Peugeot 308 GTI II. It is intended to insulate the radiant heat generated by the turbocharger. The original heat shield still allows a considerable amount of heat through, which heats the engine bay, affects engine components and increases intake air temperature.

The design is made for the most demanding conditions and has been tested to withstand up to 2500 °F or 1370 °C of radiant heat. This helps protect engine components and extend their service life. Keeping exhaust gas heat within the hot side of the turbocharger, away from the cold side and intake path, helps reduce turbo lag and intake air temperature, which can improve performance. It also significantly improves the appearance of the Peugeot 308 engine bay.

The original turbocharger heat shield becomes discoloured and loses its appearance after numerous heat cycles, which is not an issue with Forge Motorsport turbo blankets. The blanket is made from materials suitable for demanding conditions of use.

Please note that the turbo blanket will lose some of its flexibility during the first few heat cycles as the material cures. Do not remove it after installation, as this may damage it.
