Forge Motorsport turbocharger actuator for Audi A1 8X/VW Polo 6R

The Forge Motorsport turbocharger actuator is designed for VAG 1.4 Twincharged engines in the Audi A1, SEAT Ibiza/Bocanegra Mk5, Škoda Fabia and Volkswagen Polo.

The actuator is made from 6026-grade aluminium and is tailored to the specific vehicle and turbocharger. It enables more precise control of the required boost pressure, improved response and better control of turbocharger operation.

The diaphragm-sealed interior is the standard design, while piston sealing is also available. The piston design offers comparable performance and requires less maintenance thanks to the more durable construction of the sealed internal components.

The spring for the vehicle’s original configuration is fitted as standard. To use the FMPACTUN spring kit, Diaphragm Type 2, 049 must be selected.

All actuator rods are made from 303-grade stainless steel.

The specified spring pressures according to the colour markings refer only to the mechanical aspect and apply primarily to older turbocharged engines where pressure is not controlled via the ECU or solenoid. On modern engines with ECU or solenoid control, the mechanical spring specification does not necessarily correspond to the target boost pressure. When selecting the spring, consider the specific model and planned level of modification.
