The actuators are designed for Mitsubishi GTO (3000GT) Twin Turbo engines and are supplied as a pair. The adjustable Forge Motorsport actuators are made from machined billet aluminium and designed as a two-piece assembly that allows servicing and maintenance. The rod length can be adjusted for each application. Laser-cut stainless steel brackets ensure OEM-like fitment.
A spring with a predetermined spring rate is installed, suitable for factory boost pressure or slightly higher levels. On request, the actuator can be assembled with a stiffer spring. The product is intended to improve the boost pressure control capability of the turbocharger system, but the adjustment must always be matched to the capabilities of the engine management system, whether factory or upgraded.
Important: the stated pressure values for the individual spring colour markings represent the minimum regulated pressure.
The standard version uses an interior with diaphragm sealing. An interior with piston sealing is also available, providing comparable performance and less maintenance thanks to the durable design of the piston valve components.
For more demanding conditions of use, including exposure to corrosion in a marine environment, actuators with the piston design can be specified with a stainless steel housing, external components and fasteners.

The actuators are supplied as standard with a spring with a green marking. To use the FMPACTUN spring adjustment kit, the Type 2, 049 diaphragm version must be selected.
All actuator rods are made from 303-grade stainless steel.
The stated spring pressures according to the colour markings refer only to the mechanical aspect of operation and are directly applicable primarily to older turbocharged engines without control via the ECU or solenoid. On modern engines with ECU or solenoid control, the target boost pressure does not have to be equated with the mechanical spring value. Consult a qualified tuner when selecting a spring for the planned level of modification.
For the T2 spring range, the designation FMAS049 applies.
