This actuator is intended for the Nissan S14 with a straight actuator rod.

Adjustment and operation
The Forge Motorsport adjustable actuator allows more precise adjustment and regulation of boost pressure, which can improve turbocharger response and boost pressure control. A spring suitable for factory boost pressure or slightly higher pressure is fitted as standard. For vehicles with upgrades, a stiffer spring can be fitted on request when higher boost pressure is required.
The actuator is designed to increase the turbocharger system’s output boost pressure. Actual compatibility and the maximum achievable pressure depend on the settings and limitations of the engine control system, regardless of whether it is a factory or aftermarket system.
The standard version uses a sealed diaphragm, while a piston-sealed version is also available. The piston version provides comparable operation and requires less maintenance due to the durable construction of the valve interior.

The actuator is supplied with a standard spring as standard. To use the FMPACTUN spring adjustment kit, diaphragm version type 2, option 049, must be selected.
All actuator rods are made from 303-grade stainless steel.
The stated spring pressure according to the colour markings applies only to the mechanical part and is primarily relevant to older turbo engines not controlled by an ECU or solenoid valve.
On modern engines with electronic boost pressure control, the target values do not need to match the stated mechanical spring value on a one-to-one basis. When selecting the correct spring for the specific model and planned level of modification, follow the advice of a qualified engine tuning specialist.
