The Forge Motorsport FMACVAG05 is a replacement turbocharger actuator for selected VAG engines. It enables more precise adjustment and control of boost pressure, which can improve turbocharger response and control stability.

The actuator is made from 6026-grade aluminium, while all actuator rods are made from 303-grade stainless steel. The product is vehicle- and turbocharger-specific and is made to order.

  • Choice of springs with different pressures depending on the vehicle
  • Diaphragm or piston seal, depending on the version
  • Diaphragms made from Nomex material reinforced with fluorosilicone
  • Laser-cut stainless steel brackets where required
  • Machined and hand-polished finish
  • Made in England

Important information

The spring pressure values listed for the individual colour markings represent the minimum regulated pressure. A standard spring is fitted as standard. For modified vehicles requiring higher boost pressure, a stronger spring can be used on request.

On older turbocharged engines without control via the ECU or solenoid, the stated spring pressure describes mechanical operation. On modern engines with control via the ECU or solenoid, the target boost pressure is not necessarily determined directly by the spring’s mechanical value. When selecting the appropriate spring, consider the specific vehicle, level of modification and advice from a qualified tuner.

The default version uses a diaphragm seal. Piston sealing is also available, offering comparable performance and less maintenance thanks to the durability of the piston design.

If you want to use the FMPACTUN spring adjustment kit, select the Diaphragm Type 2, 049 option. The FMAS049 kit is used for the T2 spring range.

The kit includes:

  • 1 × FMACVAG05 actuator
  • 1 × Forge sticker

Suitable for: Audi A3 II (8P), Audi TT II (8J), SEAT Leon II (1P1), Škoda Octavia II (1Z3), VW Golf V (1K), VW Passat B6 (3C), VW Tiguan I (5N).
