Forge Motorsport turbocharger actuator for Audi TTRS 8J/RS3 8P

Replacement Forge Motorsport turbocharger actuator for Audi TTRS and RS3 (8P). It enables more precise adjustment and control of boost pressure, which can improve responsiveness and turbocharger control.

The actuator is made from 6026-grade aluminium and tailored to the specific vehicle and turbocharger. It is supplied as standard with a spring for factory or slightly higher boost pressure levels; for modified vehicles, a stronger spring can be used on request.

Spring and sealing selection

Diaphragm sealing is the default version for this actuator, while piston sealing is also available. The piston version provides comparable performance and requires less maintenance due to the durability of the piston seal.

The stated pressure values for the individual colour-coded spring markings apply only to the mechanical part of the actuator and are directly comparable mainly on older turbocharged engines without control via the ECU or solenoid valve. On modern engines with ECU or solenoid valve control, the mechanical spring pressure does not necessarily equal the target boost pressure. When selecting the spring, consider the vehicle model and the planned level of modification.

The actuator is supplied as standard with the factory spring. To use the FMPACTUN spring adjustment kit, select the Diaphragm Type 2, 049 version, associated with the T2 spring range (FMAS049).
