Forge Motorsport FMTUB11 is developed for the Alfa Romeo MiTo QV. This turbocharger heat shield (turbo blanket) insulates the radiant heat generated during turbocharger operation.
The design is engineered for the most demanding conditions and has been proven to withstand up to 2500 °F (1370 °C) of radiant heat. This helps protect engine components and extend their service life.
The innovative design retains exhaust gas heat within the hot side of the turbocharger and directs it away from the cold side and intake path. This helps reduce turbo lag and intake air temperature, which can contribute to increased power.
Suitable for: Alfa Romeo Mito I (955).
