DV+ T9362: no noise and unnecessary extras – just performance
A SIMPLE AND ESSENTIAL UPGRADE FOR 30% FASTER BOOST RECOVERY
DV+ T9362 retains the factory ECU control and returns discharged air to the intake system. It is a performance-focused product that offers:
- Sharper throttle response
- Faster boost recovery when changing gear
- Elimination of boost leaks
- Long service life
PROVEN TMS TECHNOLOGY FOR RELIABLE BOOST RETENTION AND OPTIMAL THROTTLE RESPONSE
T9362 is a fully recirculating direct replacement for the factory pneumatic bypass valve (BPV) with a diaphragm, used in the Renault Clio RS – improving performance without additional noise.
Using GFB’s TMS technology, the DV+ T9362 can return the engine to peak boost after a gear change up to 30% faster than the factory diverter valve.
How is this possible? The factory diverter valve has several important design and operating deficiencies.
The plastic piston in the factory diverter valve is poorly sealed, which can lead to boost leaks. The DV+ eliminates this issue by using a proven metal and silicone construction for the valve components, making it suitable for demanding operating conditions.
Another deficiency is that the factory diverter valve is not designed for optimal throttle response, as it operates in only two positions – fully open or fully closed. The valve cannot open and close progressively according to the current boost pressure, so throttle response suffers when the valve releases more air than it should, for example during partial throttle lift-off.
The DV+ eliminates this issue with a pilot-control function developed by GFB. The valve can therefore operate progressively without losing the factory ECU control, helping to improve throttle response. This is the basis of GFB’s TMS principle, which can reduce the time needed to reach peak boost after a gear change by 30%. The benefit is especially noticeable when modulating the throttle to maintain the vehicle’s balance through a corner.
Suitable for: Renault Clio IV (BH).
