HFI air intake system for 1.4 TSI 140/160 PS (Golf 5/6, Scirocco)

This intake kit replaces the standard air filter housing, including the intake trumpet. The restrictive design of the vehicle manufacturer’s intake trumpet becomes apparent as soon as it is removed.

The HFI intake system is manufactured from carbon fibre and aluminium. It features a special performance air filter developed specifically for this system. Alternatively, a Pipercross upgrade filter can be selected instead of the standard filter.

The aluminium intake pipe connects the system to the intake tract and enhances both turbocharger sound and induction noise.

Kit contents:

• carbon airbox with intake pipe
• intake panel for fitting to the lock carrier
• aluminium intake pipe
• silicone hoses (black)
• fitting hardware (clamps, adapters, etc.)

Suitable for: VW Golf V (1K) / VI (5K1), VW Scirocco III (13).
