This air intake kit replaces the complete engine cover, including the air filter and intake funnel. The restrictive design of the original intake funnel becomes apparent as soon as the original parts are removed.
The airbox of the HFI intake system is made from carbon fibre and features a special DRY Pipercross performance air filter developed specifically for this system. The filter is not oiled, so it cannot damage the mass airflow sensor.
For tuned vehicles, we also recommend using an additional heat shield for the exhaust manifold.
An HF-Series Gen.2 intake pipe connects the airbox to the turbocharger. It optimises the intake airflow, enhances turbocharger sound and improves the appearance of the engine bay.
