This 2.5 TFSI turbo inlet is compatible with all 89 mm intake pipes that fit the standard inlet. When using 102 mm intake systems, such as APR, the additionally selectable adapter is required.
It is a very important component between the turbocharger and the intake system, because the full potential of the turbocharger and engine can only be made available when the entire route to the turbocharger is optimised. The new intake connection was developed to provide maximum flow and optimum airflow. The standard component is restrictive and also features edges that are unfavourable to airflow. It is therefore not designed for performance and can even create turbulence and back pressure. This design allows the air to reach the turbocharger with an optimum and even flow.
The results are higher peak power and improved throttle response. Suitable for both left-hand-drive and right-hand-drive vehicles.
