This silicone boost hose from Silicone Factory Hoses replaces the standard boost hose between the boost pipe and intercooler on the Ford Fiesta ST 180/200. It is the ideal solution for improving throttle response or rectifying power losses caused by porous or overstressed standard hoses.
Even at standard power, the original boost hoses are operating at the limit because of high engine-bay temperatures and constant pressure fluctuations during load changes. Ageing of the original hoses and/or increased boost pressure resulting from performance upgrades can add to the problem, potentially causing leaks and power losses, or even engine damage.
This hose is the ideal addition when used with our HF-Series aluminium boost pipe. These high-performance silicone hoses can effectively prevent such problems and help unlock additional performance reserves, as they do not expand even at high boost pressures. This means the turbocharger has to fill a smaller internal volume, resulting in noticeably improved throttle response.
