These aluminium boost pipes for the Audi S3 8L, TT 8N and Leon Cupra 1M with 209/225 PS are manufactured by hand and subsequently either polished to a high-gloss finish or powder-coated in black.
For those who consider optimum airflow into the intercooler essential, this boost pipe is indispensable. The power-reducing turbulence caused by the original boost pipe’s integrated noise/silencer is eliminated by installing this product. Throttle response after gear changes is also noticeably improved. Fitting is therefore particularly recommended for tuned 1.8T engines producing 210/225 PS.
Fitting position: between the turbocharger and intercooler
Installation is Plug&Play. The boost pipe fits the original boost hoses as well as our upgraded silicone hoses.
Thanks to its aluminium construction, the boost pipe is considerably lighter than the original component. This means that the large, visually unattractive retaining clamp at the upper end, directly in the visible area, is no longer required, further improving the appearance of the engine bay.
