HG Motorsport chassis brace for VAG MQB and MQB Evo

This CNC-machined HG Motorsport front subframe brace (Strut Bar), made from high-strength aluminium for VAG vehicles, is a must-have addition. The black anodised finish with an engraved HG Motorsport logo immediately enhances the appearance of the front subframe and substantially increases its stiffness.

It fits almost all VAG vehicles with an aluminium front subframe and the mounting points shown in the pictures (e.g. 1.6/2.0tdi, 1.8/2.0tsi EA888, 2.0 TSI EA888 evo). The brace stiffens the original subframe by connecting it to the body.

MQB and MQB Evo vehicles are based either on a thin front subframe made from pressed steel or cast aluminium. This subframe has to channel all the forces generated while driving. The bolted HG Motorsport brace provides additional support and increased stiffness, resulting in more precise driving dynamics and noticeably improved handling.

It is particularly recommended for vehicles with modified suspension and anti-roll bar kits. Despite the additional stiffness, the improved dynamics come without compromising ride comfort or creating additional noise or vibrations in the vehicle. It is also ideal in combination with further braces, such as HGSRBMQB.
