The HG Motorsport oil drain plug is an additional safety upgrade that should not be missing from your vehicle. Its neodymium magnet captures metallic particles that were not caught by the oil filter and could otherwise cause engine damage. This upgrade helps extend engine service life and reduces the amount of metallic debris inside the engine.
The drain plug is supplied with a washer/seal, so no additional installation material is required. It can be reused after every oil change because, unlike the original plastic plug, it is not destroyed when removed.
Finished in black anodised aluminium and laser-engraved with the HG Motorsport logo, the plug is also visually refined.
Note: Suitable only for plastic sumps on 1.8/2.0 T(F)SI EA888 Gen. 3 engines, e.g. Golf 7 GTI, Audi A3/S3 8V, SEAT Leon 5F and Škoda Octavia 5E. Please observe the tightening torque of 6 Nm.
