This one-piece intake pipe, made from temperature-resistant, multi-layer silicone in SF-Hoses quality, replaces the original intake pipe and silencer fitted directly to the turbocharger compressor inlet. Compared with the standard part, the pipe has a smooth inner wall, a larger internal volume and a tapered design. This reduces flow resistance and can increase performance, particularly on optimised engines. As the original part’s silencer is omitted, the intake sound is also more pronounced.
As an ideal addition, we recommend the Pipecross upgrade filter.

Installation is a plug-and-play replacement. The standard click connections are retained.
Note: On the Audi SQ5, the engine cover must be modified because of the larger diameter of the upgraded intake pipe. Approximately 6–7 mm of plastic must be ground or cut away.
