HG Motorsport turbo inlet / outlet pipe for VAG 1.6–2.0 TDI EA189/EA288 (Golf 6/7)

The Turbo Outlet is fitted directly to the turbocharger outlet, on the pressurised fresh-air side. The original component, known as the turbocharger silencer, was fitted from the factory to reduce noise and turbo acoustics, at the expense of flow rate and response. The HF-Series TDI Turbo Outlet eliminates the silencer. Its revised design prevents the turbulence found in the original component, improving turbocharger response on your TDI. This allows air to reach the intercooler through an optimal and even flow path. The results are higher peak power and improved response. This Turbo Outlet was developed using state-of-the-art flow simulations and calculations. The diameters of the connections were calculated on the basis of this development to ensure maximum throughput and optimum airflow. An ideal addition for already optimised TDI engines. Installation is plug and play, replacing the original component. The TDI Turbo Outlet is supplied with a parts certificate for registering the modification, prepared and tested by TÜV Süd.

Suitable for: VW Golf VI (5K1) / VII (5G1).
