HG Motorsport turbo inlet / outlet pipes for Audi S6/RS6, S7/RS7 C7 4.0 TFSI

The HF-Series intake pipes / turbo inlets are compatible with the standard RS6/RS7 intake system. The inlet is a very important component between the turbocharger and the intake system, because the full potential of the turbocharger and engine can only be made available when the entire route to the turbocharger is optimised.

The new intake pipes were developed to enable maximum flow and optimum airflow. The original component is restrictive and also features edges and dents that are unfavourable to airflow. It is therefore not designed for performance and can even create turbulence and back pressure. To generate the maximum possible flow, no compromises were made: the flanges and the first bends at the turbocharger are completely CNC-machined from solid material. This allows the available installation space to be used fully, and a 16% increase in flow was measured on the Flowbench.

Another feature is the additional inlet spacers, which eliminate the edge in the fresh-air housing and create a perfect airflow without flow separation. This allows the air to reach the turbocharger through an optimum and even flow path. The result is higher peak power and improved throttle response.

The spacers are suitable for the original S6/S7 and RS6/RS7 turbochargers. If you are running upgraded turbochargers with enlarged fresh-air housings, the spacers can be manufactured to your required dimensions (option in the selection above).

Installation notes

1. For the S6 and S7, conversion to the RS6/RS7 air filter housing, including the Y-pipe, is required because these components have the necessary 60 mm connections instead of 55 mm. A further advantage is the 100 mm filter connection instead of 90 mm.
2. The standard rubber crankcase breather hose on the underside of the right-hand intake pipe must be shortened by approximately 2.5 cm using a utility knife.
