This new turbo inlet pipe from the HF-Series is compatible with the standard intake systems of the Polo GTI, Ibiza Cupra and S1. It is a very important component between the turbocharger and the intake system, as the full potential of the turbocharger and engine can only be made available when the entire route to the turbocharger is optimised.
The new inlet pipe was developed to provide maximum flow and optimum airflow. The original component is restrictive and also has edges that are unfavourable to airflow. It is therefore not designed for performance and can even cause turbulence and back pressure. This upgrade allows air to reach the turbocharger through an optimal and consistent airflow path. The results are higher peak power and improved engine response.
