Developed for long‑distance and endurance racing, the RSL 1 compound is designed to deliver excellent thermal stability and consistent friction across a wide temperature range. Key to its performance is the exceptionally low pad and disc wear rate, making it ideal for when you need sustained braking performance over extended stints, such as GT cars, touring cars and prototype endurance racing. It also features low pedal effort and slightly progressive behaviour on “bite” for controllable corner entry while still offering strong modulation. This keeps it usable in sprint racing too, where bite and control are equally important.
