Racingline adjustable rear arms for toe adjustment upgrade the standard pressed-steel arms on MQB vehicles and enable simple, precise adjustment of the rear axle geometry. They are suitable both for finding the optimum setup for the track and for evening out tyre wear during everyday driving.

Function

Vehicles on the MQB platform use a pressed-steel rear arm to adjust the toe angle of the rear wheels, or their direction in relation to the vehicle’s longitudinal centreline. The standard part works, but it is not designed for easy adjustment, while its softer rubber bushes flex slightly under higher loads in corners.

Racingline adjustable rear arms solve both problems. The threaded design enables precise toe adjustment while the arms remain fitted to the vehicle, making geometry adjustment quicker and more accurate. The stiffer construction also reduces unwanted deviation and helps maintain stable, predictable rear-axle behaviour during dynamic driving.

Built for precision and durability

Each arm is CNC-machined from a single piece of 6061-T6 aluminium alloy, providing high stiffness without unnecessary weight. The bushes are selected to provide a good balance between performance and everyday usability:

• Stainless steel housings with high-hardness rubber bushes installed
• CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminium alloy bodies for maximum stiffness
• Polished and gloss-black anodised finish for long-lasting appearance
• Threaded rod ends for stepless adjustment on the vehicle
• Stiffer rubber joints reduce flex in the standard bushes without the harshness and discomfort of ball joints

Using high-hardness rubber instead of a metal ball joint is a considered choice. It reduces deviation under high loads on the track while retaining comfort during everyday road driving without excessive noise, vibration and harshness.

Important: These toe links are not suitable for the Golf R Mk8.
