Racingline VWR3130RS lowering springs for the Audi S3 and RS3 8V generation and the Audi RS3 8Y generation. The springs lower the vehicle’s centre of gravity, reduce body roll and improve handling without the need to install a complete set of coilovers.
Factory springs are a compromise between comfort, vehicle height and broad usability. Racingline springs improve the vehicle’s handling and give it a more purposeful appearance, even with the original wheels.
Spring features
The springs are developed to work with the original OEM dampers. Their spring rate is higher than that of the standard springs, while the progressive setup retains comfort during everyday driving. The vehicle feels calmer and more controlled, especially on uneven surfaces.

Comfort and everyday usability
The progressive spring rate means that the initial part of the spring travel is soft enough to absorb everyday bumps, while the firmer section comes into play under greater lateral loads and during dynamic driving. This keeps the vehicle stable and firm without making it unnecessarily harsh.
Compatibility
The kit is intended for Audi S3 and RS3 models from the 8V generation and the Audi RS3 from the 8Y generation, in Sportback and saloon versions. The springs are not compatible with the Audi S3 8Y generation (from 2020 onwards).
Fitting instructions
Fitting should be carried out by a qualified workshop. After installation, four-wheel alignment is essential to ensure correct suspension geometry, even tyre wear and optimum handling.
Racingline products are developed and tested in motorsport before being adapted for road use.
