Racingline springs give your Tiguan II a lower, more dynamic stance while retaining comfort for everyday driving. They lower the vehicle by approximately 35–45 mm, reduce the gap between the tyre and wheel arch, and improve stability and grip on the road.

How the springs improve the Tiguan

The springs use progressive winding. The initial part of the travel is softer and similar to the standard setup, keeping everyday driving comfortable. During more intensive driving, braking, cornering or driving over uneven surfaces, the spring rate increases and better controls body movement.

The result is more responsive handling, less pitching and body roll, and a more stable feel through corners. The lower vehicle height also reduces the gap between the tyre and wheel arch and improves the Tiguan’s appearance.

DCC compatibility

The springs are fully compatible with Volkswagen’s adaptive DCC dampers (Dynamic Chassis Control), so the Comfort, Normal and Sport modes remain available after installation. They also work with standard dampers without the DCC system.

The kit is intended for VW Tiguan II vehicles, including Allspace versions, with 2.0 TSI and 2.0 TDI 4Motion engines and the Tiguan R version.

Installation notes

The springs are a direct replacement for the factory springs and work with the original dampers. Four-wheel alignment is strongly recommended after installation to correctly set the suspension height and geometry and protect tyre life.

The actual lowering may vary slightly depending on the engine, equipment level, fitted accessories and condition of the existing suspension. The springs may settle slightly further during the first few hundred miles of driving.
