Racingline Power Control Module (PCM) – 300 hp, EA888 Gen.4 engines (2024+)

The Racingline Power Control Module (PCM) is a plug-in tuning module developed specifically for the latest 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen.4 engines with an integrated Continental turbocharger in Volkswagen Group models from 2024 onwards. It is an OEM+ style upgrade that significantly increases power and torque while maintaining the smooth and predictable operation of the standard vehicle.

Unlike a full ECU remap, the PCM module works together with the factory engine management system. It monitors sensor data in real time and adjusts the signals sent to the engine, allowing the turbocharger to achieve higher boost pressure while adapting the fuel delivery to the new requirements. The result is noticeably improved performance without permanently modifying the factory software.

Power and torque increase

On the 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen.4 engine with a Continental turbocharger, the PCM provides the following increase:

• Power: from 300 hp to 361 hp
• Torque: from 400 Nm to 471 Nm

The difference is most noticeable in the mid-range, where the additional torque makes overtaking easier and improves responsiveness during everyday driving. The actual result may vary slightly depending on the condition of the engine, fuel quality, other installed modifications and the measurement method used.

Design and installation

The PCM can be installed at home with basic mechanical knowledge. The unit is installed above the battery using the included carbon bracket and mounting hardware. The wiring harness connects to the existing sensors on the upper part of the engine, without cutting or splicing wires.

The module can be removed at any time, returning the vehicle to its standard condition. Check compatibility with the exact model and engine code before use.
