If you have fitted the Racingline R600 intake system to your MQB vehicle, you have probably noticed that the original coolant hose runs directly across its upper section and spoils the appearance. The Racingline R600 Underhose kit solves this issue by routing the hose beneath the intake system, creating a tidier engine bay.
It is a direct replacement for the original coolant hose, designed specifically for use with the R600 intake system. Installation is simple, with no cutting or modifications required.
Why choose the Racingline Underhose?
On many Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT and Škoda models with the MQB platform, the standard hose runs directly above the engine and partly conceals the performance intake system. Routing the hose beneath the R600 system gives the Underhose kit a cleaner and more professional engine-bay appearance.
The hose is not intended solely to improve appearance; it is also manufactured to a higher standard than the original part:
- made from four-layer reinforced silicone for resistance to the pressure and temperature in the cooling system,
- fluorinated inner layer for complete compatibility with G12 and G13 coolant, which can damage ordinary silicone over time,
- supplied with a factory-specification one-way valve that retains the function of the original hose,
- direct replacement for the original part – no shortening or adapters required.
About the one-way valve
The original coolant hose contains a one-way or non-return valve which, as part of the engine cooling strategy, regulates the direction of coolant flow. This is a key component, so it must also be included in the replacement hose. The Racingline Underhose retains this valve, so the cooling system continues to operate as intended by the manufacturer.

The kit is designed for use with the Racingline R600 intake system on popular MQB-platform vehicles, including Golf R, Golf GTI, Audi S3, CUPRA and related models with 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen. 3 engines. Also note the product code VWR17G7R600.

The Racingline Underhose may be a small upgrade visually, but it is the finishing touch to a properly installed R600 intake system.
