The Racingline spring and damper kit is a comprehensive suspension upgrade for the Volkswagen Beetle and Scirocco. The springs and dampers are developed as a matched system, so they work as one unit instead of two separate components that would have to find a balance with each other.
The kit replaces the original springs and dampers and is intended for drivers who want to improve their vehicle’s handling and appearance while still using it every day.

Build quality
The dampers use a twin-tube design and high-quality oil, helping to limit performance loss during prolonged demanding driving, when cheaper dampers can lose consistent operation due to heat build-up. The springs are manufactured with tight production tolerances, helping to maintain an even ride height and predictable performance over time.
Who the kit is for
The kit is intended for drivers who want a noticeable improvement in handling and a more attractive vehicle appearance while using their Volkswagen Scirocco or Beetle every day. It is not a racing coilover kit or an extreme lowering kit, but a balanced solution for road use.
Important compatibility information
The kit is suitable only for vehicles with a 55 mm front strut diameter. The strut diameter varies between Scirocco and Beetle models, so check it before installation.
Not compatible with vehicles equipped with DCC (Dynamic Chassis Control, or adaptive electronic damper control). If the vehicle has selectable damper modes, this kit is not suitable.
The kit is intended for selected 1.2 TSI, 1.2 TSI 16V and 1.4 TSI engines with the codes CBZB, CYVD, CAVD, CNWA, CTHD, CTKA, CZDA, CAXA, CMSB, CXSB and CZCA, as listed for the individual vehicles.
Installation
The kit is designed as a direct replacement for the factory springs and dampers, so chassis modifications are not required. Professional suspension geometry adjustment is recommended after installation, as lowering the vehicle changes the suspension geometry.
Suitable for: VW Beetle II (16), VW Scirocco III (13).
Approval
This part has no TÜV certification (ABE, TTG or Teilegutachten).
