The vehicle chassis is subjected to heavy loads during dynamic driving, particularly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can cause the chassis to twist and deform, consequently reducing tyre grip.
Chassis flex when driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing mid lower chassis brace helps increase body rigidity in the mounting area.
