The Ultra Racing UR-RT22-328 is a 2-point rear torsion bar for additional chassis reinforcement on the Toyota Wish II (E20) 1.8 2WD, Taiwanese import, model years 2009–2017.
A vehicle’s chassis is the part of the vehicle subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is mainly caused by the transfer of the body’s mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or sudden acceleration.
In some cases, the transfer of mass when cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to forces up to three times greater than the other. This causes significant chassis twisting or body deformation, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
