When driving quickly through corners, braking hard and accelerating, the vehicle body is subjected to high loads caused by weight transfer.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to 3 times greater than on the other. This causes the body to twist and deform, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Body flex while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing front upper strut brace helps connect the mounting points of the upper mounts and increase the rigidity of this part of the body.
