The car chassis is the part of the vehicle that is subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly evident when transferring the body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or intensive acceleration.
In certain cases, weight transfer through a corner can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can lead to considerable chassis twisting or body deformation, causing the tyres to lose grip.
