The vehicle body is one of the parts subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, hard braking or acceleration.
When cornering, the transfer of mass can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to as much as three times more force than the other. The result is significant twisting and bending of the body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing strut brace connects the upper mounting points of the front dampers and helps reduce body flex.
- Design: front upper strut brace
- Number of mounting points: 4
Suitable for: Hyundai Equus II (VI).
