Ultra Racing 6-point rear torsion bar for Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R

The Ultra Racing 6-point rear torsion bar is designed to reinforce the chassis of the Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R. The product codes are UR-SD6-3459P and 3459P.

The vehicle chassis is subjected to significant loads during dynamic driving, particularly due to the transfer of the body’s mass during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to approximately three times more force than the other. This results in chassis twisting or body deformation, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The rear torsion bar helps limit unwanted body movement and contributes to more consistent vehicle behaviour.
