The vehicle body is subjected to significant loads while driving, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This leads to twisting and flexing of the body, causing the tyres to lose some grip.
Body flex can worsen handling, for example causing understeer or oversteer. The Ultra Racing adjustable rear strut brace helps increase the rigidity of the rear section of the body and limit its deformation.
