The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is especially pronounced due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, the transfer of mass can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in significant deformation and twisting of the chassis or body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing chassis brace is designed to reduce these effects.
