The vehicle chassis is one of the parts subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to 3 times more force than the other. This can result in significant chassis flex, deformation and body twist, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
This chassis brace is designed to reduce these effects and improve body rigidity.
