The vehicle chassis is exposed to the greatest loads depending on the driving style. This is particularly noticeable when the body weight shifts during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in greater deformation and twisting of the body or chassis, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing chassis brace helps reduce these effects and improve body stiffness.
