The kit includes 2 three-point lower side Ultra Racing chassis braces for Cadillac CTS II 3.6. Each brace uses 3 mounting points, with 6 mounting points provided in total.
The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. These loads are mainly caused by the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or rapid acceleration.
When cornering, mass transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This can cause significant twisting and bending of the chassis or bodywork, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
