The vehicle chassis is among the parts subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly evident when the vehicle’s body weight is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can result in significant deformation and twisting of the chassis or bodywork, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing fender brace is designed to provide additional support for the bodywork in the fender area. It is attached at 3 mounting points.
