The vehicle body is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, the transfer of mass can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This can result in significant deformation and twisting of the body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Body deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing fender brace is designed to provide additional reinforcement to this area of the body.
